All the garlic seeds are in the ground! There are about 10,000 garlic babies tucked in under a nice blanket of hay. As in years past, we appreciate the help of family to get the job done. The rain slowed the process and stretched it out over the month of October with the final rows getting covered last week. We are grateful for a successful planting and opportunity to grow garlic another year.

Our hardneck garlic is available at Grove Gardens in Council Grove and at Hy-Vee in Manhattan!
​Hardneck is known for its pungent flavor, large cloves, and producing scapes. While hardneck varieties do not store as long as softneck, most will keep well through this year. None of our garlic is treated and works well for seed. Experience the joy of eating and growing Kansas garlic!

We have had cooler weather this spring. The last few days have provided a lot of rain. Not much for playing outside but the plants are loving it. With the warm weather coming, they are going to explode! Check out the pictures for more details about statuses of the garlic and lavender.

The Yoder bros are in the early stages of their next entrepreneur adventure to save up for a new Nintendo switch. I have a feeling this will be more successful than their lemonade stands.
